Review: Wiz Child International Fest Concert

 

Wiz Child international fest concert which happened on the 14th of November 2016 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium VIP car park was anticipated to be the biggest show after the easing of restrictions put in place to contain the virus.

Considering the number of people who missed going out for events and his fans, before the event day the Hype was good enough for the event.

Several well-known artists were billed to perform from the underdogs to the main Artiste among them are Fancy Gadam, Maccasio, Shishi and others all from tamale with no artiste from any part of the country, not even upper west or East, basically, it was a local event and the name local fest would not be bad.

The late start of the show might have reduced the number in a way, on social media especially Facebook people were complaining of the late start something Wiz Child and his team is yet to apologies.

The inability of the organizers to broadcast the show live on Facebook for audience should be worked on next time they are to organize a show, back to back performance upon performance was awesome and the organizers deserve to be hail for.

Maccasio and Fancy Gadam billed but unable to perform is a failure on the organizers and Wiz Child, as a serious label an apology letter should be issued as many of the fans were not that of wiz Child alone but other artiste billed to perform.

In all thumbs to the organizers of International fest concert, the absence of artiste from other parts of the country and the announcement made by Wiz Child at Kingdom Fm Tamale in which he said Stonebwoy might pass through which was an obvious lie made the show more or less Local fest concert
