The story of Fugu and the culture of the northern ghana

The beautiful story of the Northern people and their rich ‘Fugu’ culture is brought to light in this edition of Ghanaweb’s ‘People and Places’.

The ‘Fugu’ could be likened to what the Ashanti’s call the ‘Kente’. Made by the originators including the Dagombas, Gonjas, Waalas etc. the cloth and dress is now widely patronized by all tribes across the country
