Atimbilla was ungrateful after I helped him record with Sarkodie and Ruff and Smooth- Possigee Alleges

Tema based award winning sound engineer Awal Alhassan, also  known in showbiz circles as Possigee, has called Bolgatanga based artiste Atimbilla “ungrateful “.

The 2016/2017 VGMA Sound engineer of the year, alleged that Atimbilla upon qualifying the auditions of the maiden MTN hitmaker in 2012, exhibited certain behaviours that sought to distain thier existing relationship.

He claimed in an interview with NY DJ on BTM Africa that after he helped Atimbilla record with Sarkodie and Ruff and Smooth, Atimbilla asked him to calculate all the money spent on him so he could pay back after he wins MTN hitmaker.

Lack eluded Atimbilla for which he was beaten to the coveted price of 10,000 cedis by Shadrack Adjei known as Naterial.

“With Atimbilla it was ungratefulness, when I recorded him with Sarkodie and Ruff and Smooth and went to MTN hitmaker, he thought he would win so he came back to tell me the money I spent on him he will pay back when he wins, unfortunately he was 4th or so. He came back trying to beg me.” He said.

Possigee was responding to a question by NY DJ about his involvement with young talents in the industry. He sought to have regretted the help he gave Atimbilla with the looks on face.

He disclosed a new artiste he had signed to his label in Nautica.

Possigee is known to have produced Atimbilla feature Ruff and Smooth on “Sister” and also “Nice me” which featured Sarkodie
