Confirmed: Shatta Wale X Maccasio to ‘shutdown’ Tamale Sports Stadium June 8

Dancehall King, Charles Nii Armarh-Mensah, better known as Shatta Wale together with the Rappers Jack, Sherif Abdul-Majeed, know in music circles as Maccasio are set to “light up” Tamale come June 8, 2019 with a mammoth musical concert TamaleOnline  confirmed.

The event, christened “Storm Reign” scheduled to take place at the Alui Mahama Sports Stadium (Formally Tamale Sports Stadium) marks the commencement of Shatta Wale’s “Reign Album” tour of regional capitals in the country after a successful European tour in December 2018.

The event also forms part of activities to commemorate the 2019 Edul-Fitir celebration after 29/30 days of Ramadan Fasting by Muslims across the world.

The “Kakai” hitmaker will be visiting with his SM Millitans and the SM crew whiles the “Ninsala” crooner will be leading the Zola Music crew and his 69 Fan Army for a show down.

Headline sponsor of the event remains Kasapreko Ghana Limited, producers of Storm Energy Drink.

However, both artistes will be battling for the Reggae/Dancehall Song of the year at this year’s VGMAs next Saturday, 18th May 2019.

Supporting artiste for the event includes, Wiz Child, Gaffachi Payment, Double Tee, Onenaira, Flawa Gaskia, Fadi Lan, De Donzy, Sub Zero, Don Rhymer among others.
