ghanaians footballers abroad performanace - Emmanuel Boateng scores hat trick against barcelona

European football expert, Reuben Obodai brings you a comprehensive update on how Ghanaian players performed in abroad this weekend. It was a mixed weekend for Ghanaian players as some finished the season with flourish while others ended in agony. It was a day to savour for Emmanuel Boateng who hit his first hat-trick in the Spanish top flight league against no minnow side like Barcelona - as Levante put breaks on Los Cules 43-match unbeaten streak. The former Ghana youth forward became the first player in 13 years to net a hat-trick in a La Liga match against FC Barcelona, since Diego Forlan for Villarreal on 22 May, 2005 - what a feat that was. There was joy in Turkey as John Boye, who spent large parts of the campaign on the treatment table, grabbing a goal for Sivasspor. However, in that same league, Kamal Issah and Elvis Manu suffered relegation with Genclerbirligi. What a blistering start to a campaign in China...Frank Acheampong again won three points for Tianjin Teda with his solitary goal. Kassim Nuhu finally laid his hands on the Swiss League trophy after Young Boys finished the campaign on a high following a 3-0 win over Lugano.
