SDD UBIDS SRC WEEK : From Cheerful “Go Crazy” to “Go Hospital”

 On Monday, June 20, UBIDS SRC launched its first SRC Week celebration with candles nights as their first program which was attended well saw. 


Earlier yesterday, June 23, students were fully prepared for the ‘Go crazy’ float. It saw many people join in the float which took place in the street of Wa and Bamahu. The latter part of the night was reserved for the jams Night and Jama.



The exhaust pipe of motorbikes were removed, covers of motorbikes were also removed leaving the motor to look like a skeleton, most students had torn red shirt, trousers and others were completely mad.

It was all red starting from ministries to Bamahu and later converge at the forecourt of Hall 1 and 2 were skeleton motorbike riders display their skills along  with cars on the main campus road leading to the lecture halls 

The peak of the SRC week celebration in the formerUDS Wa campus now SDD UBIDS is "go crazy" day (intentional madness), it is often a day for students to unleash that wild beast in them.


This year was not an exception for students of the former UDS WA Campus and the first batch of UBIDS students, various barbering saloons were full of students getting their hair cut in different styles and some dyeing their hairs with all sort of colors.


Unfortunately, the cheerful “go crazy” turned “go hospital” motorbikes and cars run to each other, cars drifting unfortunately run into a crowd leaving a number of students injure and rush to the school clinic according to sources campus clinic was full of accident victims with the clinic referring critical cases to Wa central hospital.


Despite the accidents and more students were not reluctant to continue their celebrations.
