Open Letter to Sagani Tv

 Dear Sagani TV,

You started a Local TV via a Local channel, showing Local content for Local viewers. You’re then evicted from the local channel due to inability to pay its bills, and has lost coverage with the local viewers.

Instead of you to render an unqualified apology to the local viewers and accept their critiques and complaints for your unplanned, forceful and abrupt demise from Multi TV and assure them to work to return to the local channel/ platform, you continue to pretentiously pride that you’ve gone GLOBAL when majority of your immediate niche have NO access to this global channel. How then do you reach your target audience anymore, with your local content on this global channel where the local viewers are nonexistent?!

Sadly, the reactions and responses from some of your staff to the general public on social media on this very matter have been so unprofessional, profane and business unfriendly.

Meanwhile, we duly acknowledge the fact that, equity is needed to sustain business operations and when unfortunately the business lost liquidity, it becomes cumbersome to fuel operations and hence, the decline stage of the business cycle sets in. We’re deeply sorry for this unprecedented phenomenon. We hope and pray you get equipped with requisite resources and revitalize operations.

You’ve been doing so well since inception and almost all your content have been so dear to my heart, hence, advisedly, Please do a serious M & E of your plans and activities to assess your performance and take concrete decisions for sustainability and growth.

Remember, the viewers, sponsors and partners are the lifeblood of a TV business.

North First!

Thank you!
