SRC approved charges and matters arising
The SRC of uds Wa campus on the 27th of August released circular informing students about the approved SRC Charges for 2018/2019 academic year;
Level 100; GHC162
Level 200; GHC62
Level 300; GHC62
Level 400; GHC 42
This includes SRC dues and Transport fee.
Shortly after the circular was released, the LOCAL NUGs issued by it Secretary released a statement asking students to halt payment of fees and wait for a circular later.
On the 29th of August, the local NUGS issued another circular titled; Resolution on the SRC Dues and other Charges Hullabaloo, in this circular NUGS made reference to the circular released on 27th of August asking students to halt payment of dues and it seems the LOCAL NUGS AND THE SRC have come to a decision which is yet to be released to the public.
Sources close to the SRC and NUGS had confirm that the SRC executive committee do not includes the views of the NUGS in the school in terms of decision making.
