Appointment of Mufty to The SRC council of elders.
Let me first use this opportunity to thank everyone who have shared the joy of my birthday with me today by wishing me well.
My best birthday present this year is the offer of appointment by my good friend, the SRC president of our school to serve in the SRC Elder council.
Few minutes after the appointment had gone viral on social media, I have received congratulatory messages from well wishers both on campus and off campus... However, I am sorry to inform the general public that, I have called my good friend to decline the offer based on the fact that, I have involved my self in a commitment that will not allow me to give my best in that responsibility.
I promise to avail myself to support the current administration in instances that won't conflict with my commitments.
I am very grateful for the appointment.
I am sorry to all my well wishers for not responding in their way, but I know we are in this together.
