Iwan, real name Abdul Razak Issahaku has said in a new interview with Zylofon TV that he’s the only artiste who defines the true concept of Dancehall music in Ghana and that the only person who comes close to him is Stonebwoy.
The former student of University of Ghana-Legon, who has been absent from the music scene for a very long time, still thinks he’s the best Dancehall artiste in the country, adding his legacy cannot be overshadowed by the likes of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy who seem to be dominating the scene.
wan aka Lyrical Gunshot argued that being great is not measured by the number of awards one has won but the lyrical constituent of a song and stage performances.
According to him, he has all the aforementioned ingredients in abundance and that’s he believes no Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste can be compared to him.
We know fans of Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale will oppose vehemently to his assertion. It’s up to him to prove his position with a hit song though; that’s how loud the ‘talking’ can be done.
